Dream Car Automotive was founded by Dan Wasvary almost a decade ago. As a child of 10, Dan spent his time working on his 1957 Dodge Coronet with the help of his family he learned to love and rebuild classic era cars. It was during this time that Rod learned the value of every automobile, and learned how the right care and knowledge could extend the life and performance of any car or truck. At 14 years old he was a lot boy at Mid-Hudson Chevrolet and when Dan graduated high school he worked under some of the best body men in the area and learned the exterior workings of his love. Then he decided to enter several automotive training programs to hone his mechanical skills. He spent 3 years at the General Motors Plant in Tarrytown, NY, then 5 years at the Chrysler Research Center in Tappan, NY, than he took a chance by entering 1 year program in Jackson, MS with Mr. Transmission where he spent 12 hours a day learning everything possible about transmissions. Then when he came back to New York he started working with County Carburetor service his customers better being on his own, so over a decade ago he broke off on his own and has been on his own ever since. Starting Dream Car during the past five years to make a full service restoration and consignment company.

Dan has been a member of NHRA & IHRA for over 25 years and has built dozens of race cars for some of the top racers around. With three National Event winners under his belt alone. His Dodge won best Dodge in show and best paint in show at Hemmings 2008 Musclepalooza. Dans Hemi Superbird took the Best Mopar 3 Years in a row at the Northeast Nationals Goodguys Show. His 69 Cougar Convertible 428 Cobra Jet took 2nd place at the Hemmings show. Anyone that works for Dream Car is a profession in their own right. Dan has restored and built thousands of cars, many of them show winners but most of them are for average guys that want a garage beauty for their family to take to cruise nights and local shows.

Dream Car has a wide variety of clients from regular working people to names that you've definitely heard of in the Entertainment Industry and everyone is treated the same.
